1. What we collect

• Account details: name, email, mobile number, city, address and a password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form).
• Booking details: service chosen, address, preferred date and time, problem description and job status.
• Location: GPS location only when you tap the “use my location” button while booking.
• Payment records of completed jobs: amount, who received it and the commission split.
• Basic technical data such as a session cookie that keeps you logged in.

2. How we use it

• To create your account and let you log in.
• To assign a technician, complete your service and show job and payment details.
• To send emails and messages about your account, bookings and password reset.
• To keep the platform safe, prevent fraud and meet legal requirements.
• To improve our services and support.

3. Who can see your information

Your name, mobile number, address, GPS pin and job details are shared with the technician assigned to your job — only for that service. Homexa staff can see account and booking data to run the service.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

We use email service providers to send our messages, and Google Fonts to display text; these providers may receive technical data such as your IP address.

4. Cookies

We use only the cookie needed to keep you logged in and to protect forms from misuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords and role-based access so that customers, technicians and admins see only what they need. No online system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and log out on shared devices.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed for job records, accounting and legal reasons.

7. Your choices

You can update your name, mobile number, city and address in Profile and change your password any time.
